Coffee Crew
Greet guests, make and serve coffee with a smile. Training required.
First Time Guest Greeter
Responsible for greeting first time guests, introducing guests to the church before main Sunday services. Requires some training.
Prayer Team
Responsible for praying for those needing prayer during service.
Spanish Translation Team
Responsible for assisting our Spanish speaking guests with translation at the 9:30am service.
Auditorium Ushers
Responsible for helping our guests find seats in the auditorium once the service has begun.
Instrumentalist
Requires audition. Instrumentalists must have their own instruments or sticks and are in good condition.. Acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, keys, drums, etc.
Vocalist
Requires audition.
Communications Coordinator
Assists with the management of the overall communications. Previous experience and training required.
Videographer
Operates video cameras, on location or in the studio. Previous videography experience required.
Photographer
Photography as needed for events regularly. Must have a photography portfolio; access to editing software is desired. Must have the ability to work within brand guidelines. A Background check and training are required for this opportunity.
Social Media Specialist
Assists with social media management for facebook and instagram. Must have the ability to post regularly, respond appropriately, and stay within brand guidelines. A Background check and training plus 6 months of church attendance are required for this opportunity.
Writer
Assists with writing copy for a multitude of communications projects (email, social, print, website, etc.) as needed. Copy writing / PR writing experience required. Must have the ability to work within brand guidelines. A Background check and training are required for this opportunity.
Graphic Designer
Assists with graphic design projects as needed. Graphic design skills required. Access to Adobe Illustrator / Indesign. Must have the ability to design within brand guidelines. A Background check and training are required for this opportunity.
Nursery Hallway Coordinator
Greet parents and kids, manage scheduled teams of volunteers and assist as needed in nursery classrooms. A background check and training plus 6 months of church attendance are required for this opportunity.
Sub Hallway Coordinator
Greet parents and kids, monitor hallway activity and assist with child pick up at the end of service.

Dive Hallway Coordinator
Greet parents and preteens, monitor hallway activity and assist with child pick up at the end of service.

Nursery Team
Care for our smallest church family members during services. Rock babies, sing songs, play on the floor with infants and toddlers.

Preschool Classroom Leader
Develop relationships and manage a classroom environment of 3-4 year olds. Lead pre-planned lessons, crafts and activities.

Children's Check-In Team
Greet parents and kids, assist guests with check-in and be available for troubleshooting of church database related issues. A background check and training are required for this opportunity.
Special Needs Buddy
Provide one-on-one assistance and support to a child with special needs as they participate in Sunday morning activities.

Children's WIN Team
Be available to fill in on Sunday mornings “Whatever Is Needed”. Lead a small group, assist with check-in, hold babies in the nursery…whatever is needed. A background check and training plus 6 months of church attendance are required for this opportunity.
Elementary Worship Tech Team
Run lights, sound, and graphics for Elementary large group worship time. A background check and training are required for this opportunity.
Elementary Grade Small Group Leader
Develop relationships and lead small group lessons and activities.

5th Grade Small Group Leader
Develop relationships and lead small group lessons and activities for preteens. A Background check and training plus 6 months of church attendance are required for this opportunity.
Students Volunteer
Volunteers help with all the behind-the-scenes stuff that makes every event happen, including set up / tear down, and prepare food or drinks, decorations and help monitor some of the events.
Students Tech Team
Run lights, sound, and graphics for JH's large group time. Also can help with Wed night Wilderness working with slides and works with the Worship team for Wed night Worship. Also, help with taking pics and posting on Currents Students' social media platforms.
A background check and training are required for this opportunity.
WIN Team Member
Greets all students and parents at the door, and helps with student check-in and introduces new students to their small group leader, hangs out by the door for late arrival. If available can also help out on Wed night by greeting students and helping with check-in or working the cafe. A background check and 6 months of church attendance are required for this opportunity.
Student Coordinator
Can do all that a WIN Team member does but is also able to fill in with Tech and small group discussions if someone is out. This position is important because of the flexibility and the knowledge of being able to do multiple positions of all it takes to run Sun morning and Wed night.

HS & JH Small Group Leader
Develop relationships and lead small group discussions and spend time before and after small groups begin. Helps out with Wed nights small groups for Wilderness and other events for students. Also helps with the development of other potential small group leaders. A Background check and training plus 6 months of church attendance are required for this opportunity.
Life Group Hosts
Joyfully opens your home 10-12 times per semester, for 2+ hours per session, for 12+ people. You have the gift of hospitality, and you believe your home is there for God to use for ministry just like this. Your home isn’t more than 15 or so minutes away from church. You believe your home doesn’t have to be perfect to host people.
Life Groups Apprentice Leaders
Assists a Life Group Leader couple in facilitating the Group, and in shepherding the people. Fills in for the Leaders when they’re gone. Follows up with individual Group members at the Leader’s direction. Assists with each semester’s outreach project.
Bridge Hospitality Coordinator
Arrives early before each The Bridge session to set up snacks, drinks, name tags, pens, Bibles, etc. (The Bridge typically meets three times a year, four sessions each.) Ensures the venue appears as welcoming as possible for our participants.
Marriage Mentors
Possesses a strong heart for encouraging Christ-centered marriages (both you and your spouse need to have this). Facilitates couple to couple meetings using the Prepare/Enrich program. These sessions are typically 2 hours each, for 6-8 weeks. Confidentiality is a plus! A long term Christ-centered marriage is necessary.
Men's WIN Team Member
Assists with set up and break down of events, snack/coffee procurement, and may fill in as a greeter.
Men's Greeter
Greets men enthusiastically prior to events and assists with sign-in / registration during sign up.
Men's Tech Team Member
Runs tech during Men's ministry meetings, trainings, and events. Some aptitude is helpful and training is provided.
Men's Fellowship Coordinator
Plans and executes fellowship gatherings for men in coordination with the Men's Minister. Six months of church attendance and Men's group involvement at Current are required for this opportunity.
Men's Assistant Table Leader
Assists a Men’s Leader to help facilitate Men’s Group tables. Fills in for the Men’s Leader when he’s gone, and follows up with the men at the Leader’s direction. He is available to take a call or make time for another man who might need to talk or is in need of prayer. A Background check, an interview, training, and 6 months of membership at Current are required for this opportunity.
Women's Greeter
Greets women cheerfully prior to meetings and events and assists with sign-in / registration during sign ups.
Women's WIN Team Member
Assists with set up and breakdown of events, procurement of snacks/coffee, and may fill in as a greeter.
Women's Tech Team Member
Runs tech during Women's Ministry meetings, trainings, and events. Some aptitude is helpful and training is provided.
Women's Fellowship Coordinator
Plans and executes fellowship gatherings for women in coordination with the Women’s Ministers. Six months of church attendance and Women’s Group involvement at Current are required for this opportunity.
Women's Assistant Table Leader
Assists a Women’s Leader to help facilitate a table group. Fills in for the Women’s Leader when she’s gone, and follows up with the women at the Leader’s direction. Makes all training meetings. She is available to take a call or make time for another woman who might need to talk or is in need of prayer.
Current Cupboard Transport Leader
Is responsible for supply requisition and transport for Current Cupboard. Primary duties can include: operating truck with trailer; travel to local retailers, churches, non-profits, etc.; loading and unloading large amounts of supplies; checking and cross-referencing orders and inventory.
Ideally this volunteer leader would have and be willing to use their own personal vehicle in this role–1/2 ton or greater truck, van, or SUV. Must be able to work as part of a team in a high-energy, dynamic environment. Requires being physically active, standing/working for up to two hours at a time. Takes place every third Thursday of the month from 3pm to 6pm.
Current Cupboard Distribution Team
Distributes prepared grocery bags to Current Cupboard shoppers. This includes setting up tables, food bag logistics, resupplying different stations, being welcoming to shoppers, loading and unloading carts, and more.
Must be able to work as part of a team in a high-energy, dynamic environment. Requires being physically active, standing/working for up to two hours at a time. Takes place every third Saturday from 745am to approximately 10am.
Current Cupboard Packing Team
Takes part in preparing all necessary components for Current Cupboard food distribution. This includes assembling grocery bags, stocking items, organizing products, loading and unloading carts, and more.
Must be able to work as part of a team in a high-energy, dynamic environment. Requires being physically active, standing/working for up to two hours at a time. Takes place every third Thursday from 5pm to approximately 7pm.
Facilities & Grounds Team Leader
Acts a lead for all things grounds. Must have the ability to assist on Saturday mornings and help lead team members on what’s required. Secondary response to other building and grounds emergencies. Experience as a team member and 6 months of church attendance required. Training is required and background check is required.
Facilities & Grounds Coordinator
Assists with mowing, cutting, power washing, and other basic grounds needs. Training is required. Must be under the supervision of Grounds Team Leader or staff.
Facilities & Grounds WIN Team Member
Assists with weeding, basic grounds assistant. Filling in “wherever is needed” Must have basic training and work alongside a team leader or coordinator.
