Global Missions
Current is committed to supporting the efforts of missionaries locally and around the world. We focus our resources on church planters and ministries that primarily preach, teach, and baptize.

Imagine if the entire congregation at Current stayed at the church building and never left. One of the purposes of the church coming together is for us to be spiritually energized to take God’s truth and grace out into our community and neighborhoods. In the same way as we reach out to those around us locally, the ministry of the church is to reach out globally as well.
The numbers only tell part of the story. Behind every fact and number there are lives being impacted with the message of Jesus Christ. As you pray and give and go, you help extend that reach.

Diamond Willow Ministries
Founded by Rod and Valerie Vaughn, Diamond Willow brings the Gospel message to the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. They provide the locals with a house of worship, Bible study, support groups, event center, and much more.
Their newly built Tokata Youth Center makes a huge impact in the community of Fort Thompson, South Dakota. It provides a safe place for the youth of the area to learn about Jesus, receive educational support, be fed a nutritious meal, and have some good, clean fun.
Hope for the Balkans
This Bulgarian outreach and discipleship organization was founded by our supported missionary, Simeon Krastev. Their goal is to lead people to God, to establish them in the faith, and to equip them for ministry, motivate them, and facilitate their reproduction
into multiple generations of Disciples of Christ.
Simeon and his team equip pastors from across Europe for expository Bible preaching and prepare them to be effective ministers. They also support outreach, evangelism, and relief work to Middle-eastern and Ukrainian refugees.
The Finishing Fund
The Finishing Fund is a financial resourcing organization which diligently seeks to see the Great Commission completed. They fund missionaries in some of the most far-reaching points on Earth.
They support the missionaries who are taking the gospel for the first time to the people groups and places who have never heard it. Their bottom-line mission is to “make disciples of every nation” by the end of 2024.
Current Church - New Zealand
Their name is similar to ours, but Current Church NZ is it’s own thing, not a satellite or expansion campus of our church. Planted by Michael and Rosalind Trusty, Current works to engage the largely-secular population of Papamoa Beach, New Zealand.
They are an independent, non-denominational Christian Church that is Christ-centered and Bible focused. Meeting in a local high school, they preach engaging sermons, provide Bible studies, conduct groups of all kinds, and are deeply connected to the people in their community.
International Disaster Emergency Services
Indiana-based, IDES, primary work is to perform disaster relief work around the world. They provide help and hope to victims of weather events and other catastrophes. Much of this comes in the form of debris removal, home repair and restoration, and even some new construction.
Their real goal is to meet physical and spiritual needs of suffering people throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ. They do this through evangelism, disaster response, hunger relief, community development, and medical care.
Mustard Seed Network
Mustard Seed is a network of churches in urban Japan, where a staggering 99% of the country is non-Christian. Led by Jay and Caitlin Greer, their mission is to glorify God by guiding people to know and grow in Christ.
It is their goal to plant 12 churches in the 12 largest urban areas of Japan by 2025. They are well on their way to seeing the cities of Japan saturated with and impacted by gospel-centered churches that further the global cause of Jesus Christ. As of 2024, they are up and running in eight of the cities.
